Mcr: IANA table update request looks ok. (count a review) ### 02 RFC8366bis Draft: draft-ietf-anima-rfc8366bis-13 (was -12 at IETF121) Presenter: Michael Richardson Time: 5 Min TBD Michael: Lamps seems to have a new dependency against rfc8366(bis) which may still be resolved by appropriate text in the bis. Mean open topic of discussion (list) - what is the mechanism to extend vouchers with (proprietary) data without havinto write new RFCs because of a new YANG model every time... Mcr: wants to get onto NetMod agenda to get review, will also try to then go to YANG doctors. Mahesh: There is Kent as a co-author, ask him directly instead of going to NetMod. Or then ask chairs for YANG doctors review.... Carsten: Yang has identities, which means there are strings type/values.. (mcr understood it...) ## New Work *Order right now is just order of request arrival, and time is desired time be requester. We will re-shuffle and cut based on interest/discuss on the mailing list until the meeting.* ### 03 Lightweight GRASP proposal Draft: draft-zhu-anima-lightweight-grasp-02 (was -01 at IETF121) Presenter: Sheng Jiang, Longwei Zhu (local) Time: 10 min Carsten: Why should there be two ways of doing this ? Toerless: Would be important to provide good justification: 1. Propose change of name to "constrained-GRASP" given how all other CoAP work is called "constrained" in ANIMA 2. Enterprise networks where GRASP is used for communications between constrained IoT devices that do not have TCP stack but use CoAP instead. GRASP used for direct communications as well as per-hop constrained GRASP-proxy (daemon) 3. Not sure about need for pure UDP, but not CoAP based version. Or vice versa - would like to hear from CoAP folks. Sheng: does not agree to specify only CoAP or UDP, both may be used/preferred in different networks. Bing: very useful work. Also necessary. Supports adoption. Tends a bit to CoAP. Maybe better for implementers. ### 06 Mobility Management and Capability Negotiation Draft: draft-yan-anima-mmcn Presenter: Tianji Jiang (local) (From Zhiwei Yan <yzw_iplab@163.com> ) Time: 7 min ## Chat Log | author | text | time | | --- | --- | --- | | Carsten Bormann |
And Esko is normally loud while Toerless is very quiet
| 2025-03-19T08:42:19Z | | Holger Keller |
Toerless is/was quite a bit away from the mic
| 2025-03-19T08:46:26Z | | Carsten Bormann |
I'm not sure the chairs read the chat, maybe somebody should sneak up to them and tell them
| 2025-03-19T08:47:03Z | | Holger Keller |
Better now?
| 2025-03-19T08:48:38Z | | Carsten Bormann |
Get some tape and stick the mic to Toerless' face... Discuss signed GRASP for discovery etc..
